This is her blog, written by her parents with her thoughts in mind. She has been a source of their renewed creativity, and hopefully she will someday enjoy reading these to herself.

Bike Race

Dad's friend Paulette & Roman recently had a party for their twin girls at Dave's Fun House at Festival Mall. They had come all the way from the U.S. to visit their relatives and celebrate their daughter's birthday in the Philippines. I was lucky to be invited to their party. There were lots of things to do at Dave's fun house. A lot of moms leave their kids there when they plan to take some time off to watch a movie or shop around.
One of the things I tried was riding a bike. Of course dad still had to push me around but pretty soon I'm sure I'll be biking around the block by myself. Dad has also taken up biking a few weeks ago. He has made this his new exercise habit. I can't wait till Dad and I eventually have our bike race. Get ready dad!

Splitting Image

When I was much younger, mom and dad couldn't decipher who between the two of them I resembled more. Mom said I got Dad's eyes. And Dad said I got my mom's complexion. The rest of my features were still a toss up.
As I got older, around ten months, mom realized who I was the splitting image of. She said I looked like Tita Nina Puyat. With this comment she got the "amen" of Tita Jullie and more of my dad's Daza relatives.
Here in this picture I am with Dad and Tita Nina. I am so proud to be told that I look like her, definitely because she is very pretty. Also, despite my Lola Betty's insistence that I don't have a nose, Tita Nina has a nice nose which most probably I will have when I grow up.

Workaholic

Every day, mom and dad go to office and, with a heavy heart leave me with my yayas. Mom makes it a point to give me my morning bath before going to work because it gives her more time to play with me. Besides, her office is just ten minutes away and unless she has an early morning meeting, she really has time for me.

Lately, dad has been coming home late because he had a series of seminars. I missed him so much that when he finally got around to his usual schedule of spending time with me, I made sure I got the most out of him. Here in this picture, he put on his tie on me to show me who's boss around here. Who else but me? Right dad?
