My Silly Hat

To all of the kids who, like me, have become avid fans of Barney, the huge purple dinosaur, I'm sure you know how crazy he is over silly hats. Well, ever since I started watching Barney, I myself have taken to putting whatever looks funny on my head.

My favorite silly hat is the yellow half of my shape sorter ball which fits my head just perfectly. I sometimes ask dad to wear the other red half so we can be a silly pair, but his head is just too big for it.

Am posting this picture too because mom says I have dad's upperbite. I think this picture shows that resemblance very well.

Miss Saigon

My Ninang Evie, who loves me very dearly, bought me this Miss Saigon outfit during one of her visits to Vietnam.

Luckily, Mom spotted it recently -- when it was just the right fit -- among the numerous clothes given to me during my last birthday.

I was so delighted seeing myself in the mirror as it was the first time I wore something with long sleeves. Wow! this was really made for me.

Thanks, Ninang Evie. I love you! Post out a picture of Gia in the same outfit too.

World Cup Kicker

While at New World Hotel, Daddy and I discovered this cool spot at the lobby for World Cup enthusiasts -- a patch of grass with soccer balls on it.

It was simply irresistible. My soccer instincts just kicked in and sooner than my Dad could catch up with me, I was on the green for penalty kicks.

I would have brought an official World Cup soccer ball home, but Dad didn't let me. And not only did I not bring a souvenir home, I also lost my left Florsheim shoe. I must have kicked the ball so hard that I didn’t notice my shoe flying with it.

We had a fairly difficult time getting a room in the hotel because there were a lot of local residents booked just to watch the World Cup. We didn't get to watch any of the games there but I sure had a piece of World Cup action. Look at me, I'm such a good kicker!

I think this is where I originally lost my shoe earlier during We had a fairly difficult time trying

Cinderella in New World

To celebrate mom and dad's wedding anniversary, we all packed our bags and escaped to New World Renaissance Hotel in Makati. Not only was it a grat place, it also brought us closer to all the good places to eat, shop and watch movies -- if they allowed me to .

While mom was busy checking us in, Dad and I surveyed the hotel facilities. I had so much fun running around that, before we even brought our luggage to the room, Mom realized that I had already lost my left Florshiem shoe.

Just like Cinderella, I was hoping some prince charming would find my shoe and return it to me. We notified housekeeping to search for it - but sadly, someone had probably already picked it up and taken a liking to it.

Except for that, we had a grand time at the hotel. Mom and dad ended up buying me two new pairs, just in case I lost another shoe. I really loved being in a hotel. It's so much fun lying around the carpet and well, the best part was the fluffy goose feather pillows. They were the best.

All in all, we had a great anniversary celebration. We should do this again more often Dad!
